Welcome to the Lynchburg Regional SHRM

We are an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.  Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources.  Our professional organization is dedicated to serving the human resource professional and advancing the human resource profession.

 

We welcome your use of this site as a resource and encourage you to check back frequently for updated information.  If you are an HR professional, you will find membership in our chapter rewarding, helpful and fun!   We meet the second Thursday of each month.

Congratulations to our 2019 Scholarship Recipients!

  

At the April Chapter meeting College Relations Chair, Rachel Tobin presented the 2019 Lynchburg Regional SHRM scholarship awards. Jonathan Gonzalez and Hannah Keene were each awarded a Student scholarships to assist with their education in an HR or HR related degree program. Laruen Metz was awarded a Member scholarship for Professional Development & Certification. And John Williams was awarded the Xavier Cox memorial scholarship for Professional Development and Certification.
