It was suggested that we use microphones so people can hear. It was also suggested that we start a welcome committee.

Gary Davis suggested and offered to work on trying to get pictures on website of membership. We need to know if our site will handle the capacity. It was suggested he bring a digital camera to the meetings.

Phyllis Calvert offered to be responsible for securing 2009 Meeting Location. Some suggestions were: Cattle Annie’s, James River Conference Center (distance may be a concern) and the Hilton Garden.

April door prize will be provided by Bill Symonds.

Bill Symonds reported that our preliminary balance was $12,800 and we have approximately 100 members

Danielle Booker will send our reminder for applications at beginning and end of year. We have had 8 new members join.

Brian of Wingate will share update of upgrades to Wingate at August meeting.

Betsy will email the board prior to each monthly chapter meeting to see who has reports to share at the upcoming meeting. We will always have the following reports at each chapter meeting: Treasurer, Secretary, and Membership

Betsy recognized and presented Phyllis Calvert with a birthday gift.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9:20 am.
