Topic: Ethical AI and Human-Centered Governance
Topic Description: This session explores how AI is transforming HR and why ethical, people-first governance is essential. Participants will learn the core principles of responsible AI, understand common risks such as bias and privacy concerns, and discover practical ways HR leaders can ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability when using AI in the workplace.
Three Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the Core Principles of Ethical AI
Participants will be able to identify key ethical principle; such as fairness, transparency, privacy, accountability, and responsible data use that guide the design and implementation of AI systems in the workplace.
2. Evaluate the Human Impact of AI in HR Practices
Participants will analyze how AI tools influence recruitment, performance management, employee experience, and workforce decision-making, and recognize potential risks such as bias, inequity, or loss of autonomy.
3. Apply Human-Centered Governance Strategies in Organizational Settings
Participants will learn how to implement governance frameworks, policies, and oversight processes that ensure AI systems align with organizational values, protect employee rights, and support ethical, people-first outcomes.
