    Speaker: Charity Medina

    Speaker Bio:

As a seasoned Operations and HR leader, Charity gets it. She’s spent her career at the intersection of people and processes. Charity balances the work of recognizing individual strengths in each team member and positioning them for success, with an eye towards process and operations efficiency. In the course of her career, Charity has worked with national brands like Cartoon Network and Coca-Cola, streamlined in-house agency processes for maximum efficiencies, overseen a global warehouse transition for a national nonprofit to achieve massive net savings, navigated large technology transitions and launched mobile apps. And while she handled all of these challenges with grace, after seeing the stress such large-scale projects and initiatives can put on teams, Charity became extremely passionate about improving how teams function together. in 2021 Charity became a Certified Working Genius Facilitator, introducing Patrick Lencioni’s framework that transforms teams using this simple method. It’s her passion to see people working in their individual zones of genius and thriving in their everyday work. As an Organizational Health Consultant, Charity is on a mission to help transform workplace cultures. She resides in Central Virginia with her husband and two daughters. She coaches (and plays!) basketball and is involved in her church, and local nonprofits. Fun facts, Charity speaks Spanish, makes time for burn boot camp workouts and played roller derby in Savannah, GA.

Spread the Warmth: Join Us in Spreading the Warmth! We're excited to announce that our chapter is participating in this year’s Spread The Warmth Coat Drive, led by Foster Fuels and the Foster Foundation! Help us make a difference by donating a new or gently used coat. There will be a donation box in the event room at all chapter meetings, so you can drop off your coats easily. And as a thank you for your generosity, everyone who donates will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a gift card! You can also donate coats at any of the Foster Fuels showrooms in the area. Let’s come together to keep our community warm this winter. Your kindness can make a huge impact!
