Topic: Training Effectiveness to an Organization: Training as an “Investment” and not a “Cost”
What is the purpose of training? What are the desired results? How will the impact from training efforts be measured? These are important questions for any training program, but too often they are not adequately addressed. The result is ineffective training that wastes money and resources.
In this presentation, we will examine the common barriers to providing effective training programs. Using Kirkpatrick’s levels of training evaluation as a model, we will discuss the importance of training results to the bottom line of the organization. We’ll also look at the impact of culture and behavior change in training programs, and how measurement and tracking can be used to improve training effectiveness.
