    Speaker: Doug Hayes

    How do you motivate employees to give their best effort when research shows two-thirds of them are not actively engaged at work? That’s the topic of this presentation. As the pace of change pushes leaders and employees to their limits, Baby Boomers are retiring in record numbers being replaced by Millennials who have different expectations of work, and finding good talent is harder than ever. Doug Haynes uses data and stories to show how the human factor is the key differentiator at work and how leadership can create a compelling culture that motivates employees to work together like never before to help your organization win bigger and become a greater force for good in the world.


    Biography: Doug Haynes is President of Mission-Driven Shift, where he helps CEOs, business owners, HR directors and senior executives make the right change to improve growth and performance. As an executive coach, strategist and speaker, Doug focuses on organizational health, strategic planning, leadership development, company culture, teamwork and employee engagement. He has more than 35 years of experience as a CEO, startup entrepreneur, small business owner, department head for a publicly traded company and Press Secretary for a U.S. Senator. Doug has worked with leaders across the country and chairs a Peer Advisory Group for people running companies in the Triad region of North Carolina with Vistage Worldwide. He lives in Winston-Salem, N.C., and holds a BA degree in Journalism from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
