    Topic: Negotiating Authority

Negotiating Authority: The one skill you need to be a more confident leader!

We probably all have done it. Say yes to a promotion or take a lead assignment on a project that we think will help further our level of influence or our career. You put everything you have into creating a successful outcome and suddenly you realize that something has gone very wrong. You can't put your finger on it, but you know that you aren't meeting expectations and it it’s too late in the process to go back to the beginning to fix it. By experiencing the difficulties that come from failing to negotiate her authority properly, Lynda has discovered a simple way that she uses, and you can too, that will help you quickly build your confidence at work.

    You’ll learn:

    • The 3 warning signs that your situation is out of alignment
    • How to quickly build your confidence in any situation at work
    • Tips and techniques for negotiating with others to get what you need to be a better leader
