    Speaker: Jennifer Owen-O'Quill

    Jennifer Owen-O’Quill, Leadership Director for Voltage Leadership Consulting, is an executive coach, facilitator, organizational consultant and leadership guru. Her speaking engagements include national and regional events from California to Chicago, on topics ranging from navigating organization change to building healthy corporate culture.

    Jennifer has a passion for developing mission-driven, visionary leaders to meet the challenges of our times with principle, purpose and strategic efficacy. With 25 years of leadership experience across a broad range of industries, she has coached leaders and their teams to execute institutional culture change through effective organizational management and leadership development.

    Jennifer brings a broad scope to Voltage Leadership, having worked and consulted in corporate, civic, and non-profit contexts. She began her management career at LBrands in 1993. Since then she has led both start-up and established companies and organizations in Chicago, Los Angeles and the Southeast. Her leadership roles have taken Jennifer from the local food pantry to Chicago’s 44th Ward, and from hospital emergency rooms to their board rooms.

    Some of Jennifer’s clients include: Carilion Clinic, Huntington Ingalls/Newport News Shipyards, WDBJ-7, Fenway Sports Group, Novozymes Biologicals, Vistar Eye Centers, True Health Diagnostics, Yokohama Tires, Canatal Steel, Polymer Solutions, PowerSchool, Corvesta Inc and Delta Dental, Torc Robotics and the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. Not-for-profit clients include Washington and Lee University, New Horizons Healthcare, Goodwill Industries, Habitat for Humanity, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southwestern VA, and CMR Institute. Jennifer coaches professionals in firms in the Southeast and across the country, including Abbott Laboratories, Baker McKenzie, and Kirkland & Ellis. As an Executive Coach, Jennifer helps leaders navigate professional hurdles and challenging client relationships to their best outcomes.

    In every case Jennifer’s passion for leaders shines through. She loves coaching leaders to thrive, and understands intimately the connection between a thriving leader and a thriving organization. Her goal is to ground leaders deeply in their core vision and values, so that they can lead with ever greater clarity, integrity and authenticity.

    Outside her work in leadership development, Jennifer has been a semi-professional ballet dancer, loves hiking, sailing and solving puzzles. Jennifer has been an active, ordained minister since 2001. Jennifer and her husband David live in Roanoke, VA with their 9 year-old son, Daniel.
