    Course Description:

    This workshop on Digital Transformation and the Workplace: How Using New AI Technology Can Streamline Processes Without Stressing the End User will both enlighten and inform the audience with new technology presentations, implementation strategies, and a look into the future of how AI can enhance the capabilities of the modern HR workplace. Hang on as the LU SHRM Team provides an interactive discussion on transforming your mind and ultimately your workplace.

    Course Objectives:

    1. After participating in this workshop, the participants will gain a greater knowledge of AI and how this technology can be implemented into the workplace.
    2. After participating in this workshop, the participants will have tools that will aid the HR professional in how to practically use the newest AI technology to enhance the workflow of their organization.
    3. After participating in this workshop, the participants will be able to define AI and possess a greater knowledge of the driving factors of AI transformation in HR.

    Speaker: Tammy Brown and the LU SHRM Student Chapter

    Dr. Tammy Brown is an Associate Professor at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Her area of content teaching is in the field of Human Resource Management and Finance. She spent 29 years in the banking industry before her transition into higher education 5 years ago. She has several publications on topics such as employee engagement, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and compensation. Her passion is leading the next generation into success in the field of HR.
